Refund policy
Forte Brands offers the opportunity to return an item that is no longer required. We have a 45-day return policy, which means you have 45 days after your item is shipped to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, must have not been installed and must be in original condition (including packaging) and notification of the request must be received by Forte Brands within 45 days of when the product was shipped. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@fortebrands.com. If your return is approved, we’ll provide return instructions—and in cases where the item is defective or we sent the wrong product, we’ll also provide a prepaid return shipping label. For all other return reasons, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return requests will be kept open for 4 weeks at which time they will be closed. Any returns received after this time will not be processed. Please allow 5-7 days from the date the return is received to Forte Brands for the credit to be issued to accounts. If returned goods are damaged, show signs of installation, or not in the original packaging, credit will be denied. The customer will be given the options to either have Forte Brands dispose of the goods or have the goods returned at the customer’s expense.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. These include:
- All finishes on drain assemblies.
- Any wood, leather, and other non-metallic components.
- Unlacquered brass, and other living finishes.
- Items that are special order or specialty finishes.
- Products purchased from unauthorized sources. The complexity and control of the open markets with regards to resellers, e-commerce and online trading of secondhand goods force Forte Brands to only offer warranty for products purchased from Forte Brands Authorized Dealers as listed here.
- Labor and other expenses for disconnection, deinstallation, or return of the product for warranty service, as well as packaging and shipping, or for installation or reinstallation of the product.
- Accessories, connected products and materials, or related products not offered by Forte Brands.
- Any Forte Brands products sold for display purposes.
Forte Brands shall not be liable for any damage to the product resulting from reasonable wear and tear, outdoor use, misuse including use of the product for unintentional applications, freezing, excessive water pressure, pipe corrosion and extreme hard water in the home in which its installed, abuse, neglect, improper installation or installations inconsistent with Forte Brands' instructions, maintenance or repair, including the use of abrasive or caustic cleaning agents, ammonia and no-rinse cleaning products.
Necessary maintenance or repairs on Forte Brands products can be performed by any company. However, damage caused to products by you or any non-authorized third party may void your warranty.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If you're uncertain about a particular color or finish, we encourage you to contact your local showroom or sales@fortebrands.com for a sample (sold separately) prior to item purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
